Description

On the right the image as seen on the screen after live stacking 240 frames of 15 seconds each with Sharpcap Pro
On the left, the same after having been postprocessed with Astro Pixel Processor (just for light pollution removal) and StarTools.
TS SD Photoline 72/432 as optics and ZWO ASI 183MM as camera.

With the foreword that the final image is far from being of high quality anyway, one can see how much more a full postprocessing can obtain from the "live" on-screen image provided by pure EAA.

A warning: light pollution is very significative in my urban site (Bortle 8, SQM 18 ), so much of the difference is due to simply removing it in postprocessing: results under a darker sky (or using narrowband filters) may well be quite different.
